I had cpr class last night. About 30% of the class wore low rise jeans. That meant everytime they had to bend over and practice cpr, I had to look at their butt cracks . Its hard to look away because you constantly want to watch what their doing.... It drove me crazy!!!!!
So to those of you planning to take cpr class soon, please... please.... no low rise. ok. Great.
Ok vent over.
I am fairly certain that the seriously low rise plague has been promoted by men for men. It goes along with the way low cut tops these days. Sometime I think women are going backwards not forwards. Maybe you just have to be over 30 to understand the difference between admiration and objectification.
athletic shorts with the member hanging out [/size']
two of our male neighbors (both physicians) jog together in athletic shorts with baggy boxers underneath. :omy: nothing to the imagination whatsoever... another neighbor who is in her eighties
put it best, "i see ___ and ____ and the peeping toms are on the loose again..."

ambermichelle, that's too funny. I have some buttonfly Bongos I just found in storage and boy are they high-waisted; they used to be my favorites! I'm not quite your size but am petite at 5'3" and wear size 3, but the other day, I bought stretchy material 7's, and they are way longer than a 3 would be. I have done this before because not only are they longer in the waist, they are longer in the rear, and being a mom, I personally do not want my butt hangin out (either the upside or downside LOL). Anyway, just an idea. They fit like normal jeans would, but because they are stretchy material, they aren't too baggy, are low-waisted but plenty high for me to bend over and plenty low for me to bend over as well. I think I'll wear them to my CPR class!
No one said everyone has to wear "mom jeans". I am a mom of 3. I do wear mid-rise. I just spend time trying them on & making sure stuff's not out and about.
My daughter is in school for Fashion Design, she'd disown me if I wore "mom jeans". Just kiddin'
I just mean that we don't have to be covered head to toe to be professional, just take some time to look in the mirror before going out. And don't forget to bend over in front of your mirror. Check out your rear-view for crying out loud!

We do this in good faith. Less fabric means less cost to manufacture which means when we/or you buy you clothes they will be much cheaper (in theory). It's a WIN WIN.
Problem is the prices never fell(or at least they dont seem to have).
They actually do sell low-rise scrubs! I've seen them at Wal-Mart. I almost accidentally bought a pair. I didn't really read the whole tag, went in to try them on & couldn't believe what I was seeing. Needless to say, I did not buy them. I'm 38, not 15 trying to impress the boys.If you bend over, you show the whole world what you've got.
omg I was just searching for some decent scrub pants (the ones our school reccomend are similar to the mommy jeans lol), and your right I saw a ton of low rise scrub pants. .
oh boy....
