Why are nurses so backbiting?

Nurses Relations

Published

I see it in the hospital. I see the "keep your head down and don't ever correct a teacher" and I've seen it in my current place of work. Why does it seem that nurses want to one up each other or socially isolate people? Do you see what I see?

"Some" nurses will take out their frustrations on others.. because they feel helpless in their current position.

Frustrated, overworked, and unappreciated. Some personalities will take it out on the newbie, an agency nurse, anyone viewed as lower on the totem pole.

And then again .. maybe some of them are just female dogs.

Yea? What's a male nurse who acts like that called, then?

Or are you including them in this as well?

Certainly including male nurses, they can be female dogs as well, just could not think of another PC word.

As for Politically Correct, NEVER HAVE, NEVER WILL!

Gotten through life just fine. I will be a TRUMP Male nurse.

I used to work with Female doctors and female nurses at a clinic for a while, got a long great with them. I get the feeling women, and I may be wrong, can work better with males in SOME environments and be comfortable just being themselves. Or perhaps I just put ladies as ease.

I treat EVERYONE, male, female, black, green, brown as a equal. With that said, if you screw me over, then all bets are off...

Who doesn't love a crash pizza right next to the blood soaked linen and poopy diaper pails?!

WWNJD What would nurse "Jackie" do?
