Okay, it's getting down to crunch time!!! I am starting to *think* plan B. I still have to wait until the first part of May before I get any news. If I don't get in, I will need to bust my rear to get more pre req's in this summer for another program starting in Jan'07...
Who else is still waiting for fall 06...and do you have a plan B????
Good luck my fellow future nurses;)
I am also anxiously awaiting "the letter." They are sent out approximately 4 to 6 weeks after applications are due. Tomorrow will be 5 weeks. I just want to know. This wait is nerve wracking! Does anyone know if schools just send out a letter to everyone and then a packet or do you automatically get a packet if you are accepted and a letter if you are rejected? Either way, I just want to know. At this point, I don't have a backup plan as I applied for Spring quarter starting March 31st. If I don't get in, I will figure out my next step. I am not good at waiting.

i will keep my fingers crossed for you kat von b. it has been a hard wait, but i hope it is worth it. i too had finished all my prereqs and so i have had this quarter off. i thought i could get a lot done, but i seem to not be able to concentrate. hopefully now i can get things done before the end of march creeps up on me.
I AM IN!!!! Yay!!! The first day of class is April 24th, my 32nd Birthday!!! I wanted to be a nurse by 35, and now I am on my way. After a few rejection/unlucky numbers in the lottery system, this is the one that my son said to me a few months ago: "Mommy, I hope you get in your nursing school." :dncg::dncg:Yayy!!!
Hey everybody,
Add me to your list of waiting for the letter. Yea, I have completed all my pre-reqs and my gpa is 3.83. I sure hope I get in the first time. I'm really nervous too. I have to wait until May also to find out if I got accepted. I haven't applied anywhere but one college, but if I don't get in, I will apply to others farther away next time.
Good Luck to everyone,
Laura
I am still waiting to get my letter. I applied back in October and still waiting....arghhhhh:angryfire.
They take their sweet time to get back to us........I heard that we should get our letters by the end of this month hopefully.
I already know that I'll be on the waiting list because my college goes with a point system and not with GPA..........but I can't wait to know when I will finally start NS............
Good luck everyone.
