Nursing school is challenging and we're all going to have our frustrations from time to time but sometimes I read responses from people who are loving nursing school and are happy with their program. I'm just curious, if you are one of these people will you tell us where you go and/or why you love it. I feel like the people applying to schools should know where the good programs are at, I feel like programs with happy students should get a lot of credit, and I'm curious to see if there are very many people happy with their program or if the majority are like me and are disappointed with how it's going. Thanks!

I actually love my nursing school. No its not perfect and there are some things that can improve, but overall I LOVE IT. Its alot of material and things to know which can be overwhelming, however I really love to learn. I love that fact that I'm increasing my knowledge base every day. I also love to apply my knowledge whenever I get a chance. I also love going to clinicals. I love that fact that I get to practice what I've learned in class and learn what it is like to be a real nurse. I also love to tell the cnas or techs to relax and take a break.... I tell them I'll get them when or if I need help... they really appreciate that. I usually make sure I take the load off of them while I'm at clinicals. Anyway, I absoutely ( excuse spelling) love nursing and learning. I know it'll get harder, and there are times when I cry or feel like its too hard, but that's to be expected and someday all the tears, blood, and sweat will definetly pay off.

I'm only in my first semester but I really do love my program.
My pharm teacher is a phenomenal lecturer and I learn so much from her (she's one of the two authors of Davis' drug guide). I genuinely love that class and look forward to it every week (and I had absolutely no interest in the subject before I started; it's now my favorite class because of her). I'm learning so much in my other courses and while I'm not the hugest fan of one of my instructors she at least makes her course straight forward. She provides us with powerpoints/notes and materials to succeed she's just has a terribly boring lecture style (it may just be me). I feel like the faculty in all my classes really want us to succeed and they're almost all so supportive and helpful. Are there times where I feel like they're being overly picky-- sure-- but I think that they just have high expectations from us and I appreciate the opportunity to learn from them. I'll take it and will grow from it.
For anyone in the metro Detroit area or would consider moving here I'd whole heartedly recommend my program. I'm just sorry that others aren't having as good of an experience . Hopefully my experience stays positive and others' will improve.

My nursing school was actually high school and nursing school. I LOVED NURSING FROM THE BEGINING TO THE END. Sure there were alot of speed bump but I wouldn't change it for the world. My favorite part of nursing is patient care and I found that out immediately after starting clinicals. I have some of my best and worst memories in that class:) Now it's time for the dreaded NCLEX..........

So far I really love nursing school! I'm only is 2nd quarter out of six, but all my instructors so far have been exeptional. I was most worried about the clinical instructors because I tend to do fairly well for theory stuff, and they have been wonderful! The word I would most describe my school with is Nurturing, and I feel so blessed to be here.

I really don't love my school. Its filled with catty girls that will sabotage u any chance they get. Well, I don't hate the school maybe just most of my classmatesl..the instructors are nice, helpful, and actually inspiring. They actually help u instead of chew ur head off or scream at u if ur doing something wrong.
