I applied on April 2 and have not received any phone call, I wonder how they decide who to call is it based on GPA. I can not see how eles they can decide to call. I was also thinking that those students that had clinicals at the hospital proabaly get called first because getting hired in this market it all about Nepotism or who you know its not about what you know any longer. Good luck everyone!!!!

wow 600 applicants!!! Yes I always wonder how they select people. It's a new grad program so I'm assuming experience is not important. Maybe they just call BSN people with a 3.5 GPA and higher. Just curious if the people who got called today have a BSN.

I have a ADN and I'm starting to think that it's useless applying to new grad programs, they seem to only call/select people with BSN.......I applied to a few of them and always got rejected, last one was St. Vincent they said I didn't meet their requirements.....I wish I knew what those requirements were......it's getting too hard to find a job :(

Good luck to the people who got a call.

I checked my application status online and it says that I was not selected to continue in the hiring process :crying2:

In reply, I do have my license and a higher degree, with a gpa >3.5. I have no experience at WMMC, tho. I do remember reading a poster in the ucla new grad program thread who had an ADN and was being interviewed by the NM. And I guess I am not moving forward at UCLA after the Talent Plus phone interview stage in spite of my advanced degree and grades (I must have really said something wrong in the phone interview--altho I thought it went well!).

It's probably way early to make any assumptions about not getting the call from WMMC. So hang in there. And best of luck to all of us in finding the perfect nursing job!

Hello Everyone. I just received a phone call for a panel interview on Monday--so nervous. I was wondering what kinds of questions do you think they'll ask? I get so nervous with panel interviews that I tend to bomb it :(

Hi Everyone,

I also received a phone call for a panel interview on monday. I have a BSN (3.4 GPA), RN lic, first degree in Biology (3.5), m, ACLS, and BLS. I guess for White Memorial it does not really matter what date or time you apply for the program. Please hang on everyone, this process can be so stressful but if we remain positive good thing will start to happen to all of us.

Remind me. Did the application ask for a gpa?

i got a call for a panel interview last friday and just had it on yesterday, monday. they asked 3 questions relating to clinical experiences and one critical thinking question. it lasted 20 minutes. not sure how i felt about it, but if i made it through, i'm supposed to hear back in a week, and then take some kind of calculation test. eeeek!

a couple girls who were waiting for an interview w/ me already their choc interview. they were told they're really looking for ppl who have had clinical rotations there. i haven't gotten the "denied" app status update yet, but i kinda sorta expecting it.

i already did the ucla talentplus phone interview 2 weeks ago, but i wasn't told when to expect a call if i "made the cut." again, only time will tell. staying positive and keeping my head up though! :) gluck everyone!

May I ask what were the questions they asked you for the interview?

Thank you so much!! :)

i missed a phone call from white memorial today. no message was left. do the HR call back? or they just move on? sorry new to this whole interview process. im so mad i missed their call and have no direct number to call back to.

I definitely think you should call back-that's happened with me when I interviewed for Torrance Memorial.
