White House Christmas 2021

Updated:   Published

Love this years theme:  Gifts from the Heart.  Watched the HGTV tour of the behind the scenes White House decorating hosted by decorator Genevieve Gorder  (which I'd taped) again today --- can be seen now on Discovery plus.

See WH pictures of each rooms decorations at Holidays at The White House  or HGTV's picture gallery which has White Christmas decorations from 2013 for viewing.

Merry Christmas and a Very Happy 2022!!

People don't need your pity.  There was anger and bitterness when Trump won and for four years, but that fueled his demise.  People seem quite relieved and happy about that, not bitter and angry.  Just because they frequently bring up his recent years doesn't mean bitterness and anger in my opinion.

But still, it would have been nice to admire or dislike Dr. Biden's Christmas without bringing up the past.  I read many articles mentioning hers compared to Mrs. Trump's.  Mrs. Trump had her own style and to me to compare the two doesn't denote bitterness and anger to be pitted.  To me it would be odd to not comment on their differences.

Mrs. Trump stole the show when she was recored saying “I’m working my *** off at Christmas stuff…Who gives a *** about Christmas stuff and decorations?”

I found Dr. Biden's Christmas a bit uninspired and normal after Mrs. Trump's flair and style.

I don't really pity people because I think they "need" it.  It's just how I feel.  I'm glad I'm not so angry, bitter,  offended...whatever you feel is the right descriptor....about a few Christmas decorations one year.  Who and why would someone....no, more than one, remember and feel the need to comment on that a few years later?  It's not even a political issue.  It's personal.

It's pathetic.

I get it, you feel that bringing it up years later shows something beyond what the poster said  which was "undecorated, severe looking red trees" and you think that's pathetic.  I can't tell you how to view the world especially given the poster's known intense feelings about her husband.

My descriptor would be that she didn't like Melania's but likes Biden's better.

Subee wasn't the only one offering an opinion.  The press was full of comments comparing the two.  How could they not offer an opinion about Biden's dull decorations compared to the drama of Melania's.  It's not pathetic to me.

It's when Trump is continually brought up and he and his supporters are criticized no matter the subject is what is pathetic  It's easy to highlight this when one uses a positive subject in a thread free of political discussion to do once again.

I'm unimpressed that Trump-hating press also took the opportunity for recycled criticism.

I stand by "pathetic".

Since there are no Christmas decorations in my house, I guess my taste it very pedestrian in tree decorations:)  I thought that the trees' dedications were thoughtful in a good way.  No one likes Christmas trees like us Jews:)

Fair enough and I was only saying my thoughts, not asking you to change your stance.  There are some things about certain people with a certain political belief system that I find pathetic too.  So I get it.
