hi, i really need your advice. I'm planning to attend review center next month for nclex. but the problem is i'm still at a crossroad which is a better review center to choose for nclex: kaplan or pentagon? i need some insights for those who had a first-hand experience to attend in these review centers. which among the two can you recommend? thanks a lot!:nuke:
IMO neither of them are fit.
Allgen, Rachell Allen, Universal Worker, Evoke Learning and the new A Plus Nursing Tutorial are all excellent schools with course programs prepared by PhD holders with real clinical experience in the USA.
A lot of people have also had great success with Gapuz.
I prefer Allgen and Rachell Allen as my top two picks, but any of the above are going to be better than Pentagon or Kaplan.
i have also tried Kaplan Review for NCLEX. The strategies taught to us are good. But in the long run, it still and will always depend on the test taker himself. What's good about taking Kaplan is that the format of the review questions are much patterned with the exam itself. So when you take NCLEX, you are much accustomed with the strategies to use. And more so, you are well-equipped with confidence and positive attitude. .

In my case I took the kaplan review and passed the first time, passing the NCLEX really depend on the discipline of the student. But I never deny the fact that the review center has contributed to me. It helps lessen my anxiety and conditioned my mind for the exam.
To Suzzane, yes I agree with you. But isn't your comment a little bit harsh for the local instructors? Anyways that's subjective on my part; the bitter truth is your right.
