Hi everyone!
I know Excelsior tests are online, but do you go to an actual testing center to take them, or do you take them in your home?
Thanks!

Hi,
They are computer-based tests that you take at a testing center. You sign up for the test through TCN.

I sign up myself for my Excelsior tests at http://www.pearsonvue.com/excelsior -- but I'm not using TCN. If you go to the PearsonVue website, you can find the closest testing center to you home. I'm 75 miles from the closest test site, so I make a day out of it -- i.e., I go for retail therapy afterwards at a nice mall near the testing center.

Just sign up through Excelsior, that's what I did. I wasn't aware you could even sign up for them through TCN.
Thanks everyone! I went to the Pearson site and found a testing center just 10 miles from my house! How convenient is that??? :) I will probably avoid TCN and deal directly with Excelsior.
Thanks again for the input! This site has been a wonderful resource! :)

Avoid TCN and the like if you can. Get the discs and used study guides from Ebay on the cheap. Just a suggestion.
