having a discussion with some friends the other day about how many different countries are represented here. it would be fun to see where everyone is from, and how many different countries.

The rude 'two-fingered' salute used today is a legacy from the Welsh archers that won the battles of Agincourt, Crecy and Poitiers. They were so hated by the French that, if caught, the first two fingers of their 'draw' hand were cut off. If they weren't caught, they would taunt the French by 'waving' their two fingers at them.

uruguay(it's not argentina) is the land of tango , the gaucho, and the mate (a very special infusion)

my country is also where carlos gardel(the best tango singer ever) was born.

uruguay, although a very little country, has many, many, beautiful rivers, and gorgeous beaches as well.
