having a discussion with some friends the other day about how many different countries are represented here. it would be fun to see where everyone is from, and how many different countries.
administration has the actual specifics on countries, but some of you only post once or twice, and many are more frequent.
welcome to all of you...................
Hi, Everyone! I'm from Metro Manila, Philippines. I'm still here waiting for my I-140 approval. I try to read all recent threads daily from this website as much as my time allows, although I fail to log-in most of the time . However, It's nice to know the different places where you came from. GOD bless you ALL!
South Wales, UK.
Texas is more than 33 times the size of Wales. Wales is about 5 times the size of Rhode Island. Wales is not part of England.

Did you know that Yale University, Brown University in Rhode Island and Beijing University were founded by Welshmen? Or that Pennsylvania is named after the Welsh for 'head'? Or that the Holy Grail can be found in North Wales? More slightly amazing Welsh facts can be found here:

And one for the record:
The rude 'two-fingered' salute used today is a legacy from the Welsh archers that won the battles of Agincourt, Crecy and Poitiers. They were so hated by the French that, if caught, the first two fingers of their 'draw' hand were cut off. If they weren't caught, they would taunt the French by 'waving' their two fingers at them.
Cheers

[color=deepskyblue][color=deepskyblue]hi everybody!:
i'm currently living in nj, usa. i'm from uruguay (south america)
uruguay(it's not argentina) is the land of tango , the gaucho, and the mate (a very special infusion)
my country is also where carlos gardel(the best tango singer ever) was born.
uruguay, although a very little country, has many, many, beautiful rivers, and gorgeous beaches as well.
