I have a question for the polls I haven't seen here yet.

Where do you nurse, hospital/homehealth/hospice/nursing home/ clinic?

Second question what is your speciality?

Me, I work in a clinic where we deal with cancer patients from dr visits to chemo therapy and everyrthing in between and beyond.

Specializes in NICU.

Hospital... level III NICU

I worked for 17yrs in a PICU. I am currently working peds in a community hospital.

Working in rural Australia.

Work in aged care for the past 20 years

Now working as education cordinator for the nursing home (high care dpendency) Hostel (low care dependency) community packages (in the home) and retirement village - we cater for 200 + aged care people within our region. I am there to suppport the staff love it - Many of the residents have dementia both in the home and hostel as well as out in the community. (i think some days l do too) You refer to it as LTC l think

I work on a psych unit as an Army Nurse in military hospital.

I work as the Health Services Director for a 1100 bed jail. Monday - Friday with weekends and holidays off but on call 24/7. Before that I spent several years working in the ER and a short stay working SICU.

10 bed ICU, dayshift

Associate Director of Nursing for a 112 bed Medical Rehab Facility.

We care for the pediatirc population including vent-dependent children, adult TBI , and sub-acute rehab. Quite a melting pot of nursing.

I work in an assisted living facility, which currently houses 97 residents . Our property is divided up into 4 different buildings. My building which is all the mentally ill currently houses 27 residents all of whom are on high dosages of pyschotropic meds. I worked long term care for 11 years and this is my frist experience with assisted living and I find this much more gratifying

I love where l work so much and so proud of how attractive it is l thought l would post a picture or 2

I wont be breaking confidentiality etc -

Its a nursing home for 50 people (LTC) high care - very frail and high dependency (I also work at a hostel - low dependency and with the staff in the community - taking care into the home etc
