Where do you nurse, hospital/homehealth/hospice/nursing home/ clinic?

Second question what is your speciality?

Me, I work in a clinic where we deal with cancer patients from dr visits to chemo therapy and everyrthing in between and beyond.

Small 100+ bed hospital - Radiology nurse 4 1/2 yrs

Clinic x 7 years. Internal medicine. Specializing in diabetes or indocrinology in general. Before this I worked at our local hospital.

L&D x 4 years and Med-Surg x1 yr. I love my job now. No weekends or holidays. wooooooohoooo

I currently work in homecare, specializing in OB, see other adult patients as my caseload dictates. Previously worked postpartum and GYN surgery in a birthing center, and before that at a vascular surgery unit (very acute, very busy).

Specializes in Hemodialysis, Home Health.

Hemodialysis clinic...30 patients. Been there 5 yrs. now as PCT, and just now completed my degree... will continue there as RN. Love my patients, love my work ! Couldn't be happier. Hope to do some prn at a nearby hospital on med/surge to utilize some other nursing skills as well.

I worked in a Children's hospital PICU for 7 years and now work in a level 2 NICU in a smaller hospital--

We moved for our children's school environment.

Specializes in learning disabilities/midwifery.

I work in a 10 bedded unit for adults with learning disabilities. Most clients have complex disabilities, learning and physical as well as associated health problems. I work between there and our neighbouring unit, again 10 beds but all clients have challenging behaviours.Both very different but ti keeps me on my toes!

Hospital, about 350 beds. Radiology for about 8 yrs. work ten hr shifts and rotate call for nights, weekends, and holidays between 5 of us.
