Where do you keep your Medical tape??

I recently ran across a website selling a thing to attach medical tape to a stethoscope. It looks pretty cool and has hysterical color names but I wonder if it is something that would sell. I usually keep my tape in my scrub pocket but it really fills it up and gets annoying when i try to pull it out in a hurry. This made me wonder if anyone else had a handy place to keep their tape nearby. Anyway, the website is statgeartools.com Check out the funny color names! Where do you keep your medical tape?

I do the hemostat as well. I clip the hemostat to the bottom on my scrub shirt and it is very convenient. You can also place a couple of different kinds of tape that way. I always do paper and plastic. :)

I keep mine on my lanyard, too.

I used to slide the tape roll over the jaws of a hemostat and then clip the hemostat to my scrubs. It kept the tape and the hemostat handy but out of the way.

I do the same thing!

I do the same...that way I have both. Although I use tape way WAY more frequently than the hemostat.

I used to always keep it hanging on my scope but the roll of tape often falls off when i grab my scope quickly to take lung sounds. Just recently got that thing I was talking about which attaches my tape roll to my scope and i must say....it's pretty darn cool!

I got it at statgeartools.com and used the coupon code STAT74 for 10% off.

I think the code is still active so you can save yourself a few bucks!! I got the red one but all the colors look pretty nice. Anyone have a better place to keep your tape readily available?

Ha - I like the color naming :)

I hate having stuff in my pockets, I have a lil strap on pouch. It has a lil velcro tab I slip thru a roll of tape. I call it my"nurse purse" keeps all my stuff on hand, ready to find without looking, and my pockets empty.

I also hate weighing my pockets down. Could you direct us to where you got this 'nurse purse'? I've searched and haven't seen anything you're describing. Thanks! Sounds like a neat idea!

In the drawer where it belongs. I never carried all that crap on my person.

I clip a pair of hemostats to my scrub top and put the roll of tape on there. I tried putting my tape on my stethoscope but it kept falling off...the hemostat is much better. Doesn't take up space I need in my pockets!
