Where was your first LPN job????

HI!!!

I have been trying to find my first job for a while now!!!!! Just trying to lift my spirits a little bit.

Where or what was your first LPN job, where are you from, and how long did it take you to get it???

maybe your responses will give us "new grads" some hope! :mad:

Just hang in there....took me 3 months to find a job after getting my license .This was at a nursing home 3-11 shift..just continue applying everywhere...good luck.

Live in Delaware, Graduated June 2010, Passed boards in July. I just got hired at a LTC working per diem. It's a start, but I have put in around 75 applications. I was feeling depressed, but just hang in there.

Well,

I finally was offered a job!!! A LTC facility about an hour south of where I live. I can tell that its going to be a pretty good place to work too!!!

Remember to be positive, ask questions if you're unsure about anything, earn the respect and trust of your CNA's and they will respect you, AND; this may not be your first choice or your "dream" job but it's your chance to get EXPERIENCE!! Hopefully it will be a great facility for you!! :nurse:
