I'm thinking of relocating for school and have been looking for a job for the past month with no luck. I have applied to about 15 facilities and have yet to receive a call back. I'm looking jobs in Orange, west orange, livington, Morristown,Chatman...............any help would appreciated.

Me too.......I never knew or imagined it would be so harrddddd to find a job as a nurse. I'm praying it will get better and hopefully real soon .

I PASSED!!!! the writng exam and the reading, math and nursing section looking fwd to starting the chem/math class in Feb and hopefully the program in April.

Am in Florida....moving to NJ soon.I would love to even shadow someone for a few weeks jus to get an idea of how the job works. Thanks the info I feel a little bit more encouraged as far as finding a MDS job.

I've been MDS certified for the past eight months and have been unable to find a job:mad:. Every facility wants experience of at least a yr...however if noone hires me how am I suppose to get the needed experience.Any ideas??????????

Unbeleivable.....the things ppl expect from nurses.I would have aked her where in my job description does it say i have to take out the trash.....

Just hang in there....took me 3 months to find a job after getting my license .This was at a nursing home 3-11 shift..just continue applying everywhere...good luck.

30 patients....too many esp on the 3-11 where it's always busy

Hang in there.....after about a week u should be good.That's how I felt when I first started now am a pro...charge nurse and all .
