I am thinking to purchase a couple of good stethoscopes, but not sure which brand is a good one. Could someone help?

I personally use/like/recommend the GRX CD27,
Works looks and feels just like a Littmann cardiology, but without all the hurt in my pocket lol.
Check it out.

I was interested in CD27... I found some reviews and used phrases from the reviews to do a google search.... I found the exact same verbage multiple times at multiple sites... ie a bot or person with an incentive to advertise has pasted there reviews everywhere...however 'sincere' reviews were hard to come by.. this made me rethink my purchase.
Then I have to question posts like this - Trauma_Medic has 6 posts as of now and they are all within 20min and purely recommending this particular brand /model of stethoscope.. kind of makes you wonder.
Not to say Trauma_Medic isn't just a new poster with an affinity to post about that model scope and only in this gear forum, not judging him/her.. but I still wonder

:heartbeat Littman by far!
I have been a nurse for 18 yrs & have used some CRAP for stethoscopes!
My Littman was given to me as a gift (for my birthday) and I haven't ever used another!
One day we all compared our scopes! Each person putting on a blind fold & our boss had us listen to a respiratory patient. Then we had to choose which scope we heard the best breath sounds with!
100% Littman!
I don't know how they do it, or what's special but the sound quality in a Littman is superior to all others that I have come into contact with, I work with many Doctors & they all use Littman's!
Better for to hear you with!

I bought a KILA scope and have been very pleased. It was one of the least expensive non-sprag scopes out there. I am a bit deaf in my R ear and still hear very well with it. I know I'm in the minority, but I had a Littman for a couple of years and hated it. The tubing cracked in a very short time, the sound quality was ok but not anything exceptional, and for the money I had to guard it like the crown jewels. I'll take my KILA any day.

Hi there,
Can anyone tell me some experience with MDF stethoscopes?
I' m thinking about ordering an MD One (777). It is on sale on a webshop...
Any experiences? Is this really can be mentioned on the same page as the Littman Classic II SEs'?
I am looking for the followings:
MDF 777 MD One
ADC 603
Prestige clinical 1
which one to get? There is a Littman Classic SE at home, but knowing that it can "grow legs" easily, I don't want to bring it tom hospital practices... so decided to leave it home for now...
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thank you!

I'm a faithful Littmann person...I always see those or Ultrascopes. I tried using an Ultrascope and didn't like it very much, but the people I know who use them love them.

Littman great and hi dollar. If you need a lesser dollar, Kila.

I have an Ultrascope, two Littman Master Classic !!s, and a Littman Cadio II (not made anymore).
I find that I always grab my Littman Laster Classic II for "workhorse" tasks.
The BEST scope that I have is my Littman Cardio II, which is said t be BETTER than the Littlman Cardio III. I have NO idea why Littman stopped producing such a winner. It's SUPPOSED to be one of the best scopes ever made. I believe it! I can hear sounds I never even imagined, with my other scopes I lucked out on eBay-- a retiring physician sold me one that he had kept in a closet as his "back-up."
But, I'm afraid to take it out, much, because they are also famous for growing legs.
So, I did my research, and found that the GRX CD-27 (now CD-29) is a clone of the Littman Cardio II, so I just ordered one.
I'll post my thoughts when I comes.
