Hi, I was wondering about some of those weird names that you've probably encountered in L&D and PP. I remember when I had my maternity rotation a couple of weeks ago, one of the nurses said she remembers a patient that named her child Placenta. I couldn't believe it that some child has to live his life named after disgusting afterbirth!
My mom is a teacher....there are two boys in her school named Bull and Bronco (brothers).
Also, there is a family in my hometown who has 2 kids named Forrest and Timber. What is funny, their father works for the Forest Service...

There is a family in our chruch their son is Forest, daughter Brooke, son Hunter, the parents like the outdoors and the father is a hunter, so they gave their kids names that reminders them of the things that they like.
Worked with a girl named "Freedom Hope". She was a premie that DRs didn't expect would make it. She was born on July 4th. She went by Freedom. kinda cool i guess.
My daughter had a student naimed "shithead" pronounced shi-theed. I promise this is for real. When she first saw it on the roster she had to call me in hysterics.
I know someone named Shithead, pronounced Shy-Thed. Class of '99, people called her Meeka, which is her middle name (Shameka). :angryfire:angryfire:angryfire Think her parent's should have been drug tested before they left the hospital!:trout:
Last night in the program at a middle school concert, I found an Odin and a Champagne.
There was a picture in the paper of kids cleaning up the neighborhood and one's first name was President.
I work with a lady named Entrence. There's always much confusion when some asks, "Where is Entrence?" and someone who doesn't know who she's talking about points to the front door!
Also used to work for county government, and there was a lady in a different division named "Cinnamon Wild". Real name, sweet lady.
I met a couple that lives locally that named their twin girls Xorsha and Ashail. Definitely unique.
Decimus (boy)
In my high school class we twins a boy named Breezy Wheezy, and girl named MoonStruck Star...yes their mother was schizo. The kids were later adopted and names changed. We also had a girl named Angel whos name was spelled angle.
