well for me, pharm was easy to understand and im good at math while i struggled with med-surg 1.

Im really asking this question b/c in our school alot of ppl were borderline passing critical care, like 30-40 ppl failing each test out of 110 student, so i was wondering if that was the hardest class, im getting scared for next semester!:uhoh3: should i start studying over the summer? :typing

easiest - Fundamentals followed by OB, Peds, Psych, M/S 1

hardest - M/S 2

Easiest Mental Health, Pharm, Nursing Research

Hardest-Patho, Adult Health II

In Adult Health II, I excelled in clinicals, but was was on the borderline in theory. I took my final test last week and got an 88%. Highest grade I ever got in that class. Therefore, I passed the class. Thank God!

Specializes in psych,and detox,and Ltc.

I feel like it's all hard.................The key is learning how to answer the questions.:uhoh3:

Specializes in EMS, ER, GI, PCU/Telemetry.

my hardest class so far hands down was peds. wow.

my easiest class besides fundamentals has been cardiac.

Specializes in DOU.

I learned a lot more about pharmacology in my other classes than I did during pharm...

The easiest was psych, the hardest was the cardiac section of M/S II. I have a really hard time remembering all those medications.

Specializes in Home Health, Case Management, OR.

The easiest has been Fundamentals. What a waste of time. It was just a CNA course taught as first level nursing. Having worked as a CNA for quite some time I found the class very boring and I learned hardly anything new. I pulled 96-98% on my exams without even opening the dang book. The lectures were horrendously dull!! I am so looking foward to med-surg so I can learn something new and have a challenge!!

Specializes in ER, CCU.

I just graduated from my 4 year BSN program YESTERDAY:yeah:!!! It took me 5 years, and i start my kaplan NCLEX review class tomorrow!!

I have to say that soph. year was the hardest in the nursing program (it was my 3rd year of college). It was fundamentals and Interventions which was like medsurg I. It was like starting from scratch for me because the only things i knew about nursing was what i watched on the discovery health channel. Plus I think my program really tried to wean people out that first year in the program. I think back to the tests and the math problems that we had in interventions and It was just rediculous:banghead:. Those are the only 2 nursing courses i got a C in, everything else i passed with an A or B.

I also think that my studying wasn't the best that year either, i was still finding out what works best for me, and i would study for hours and hours and hours and get a C on a test. Then i realized that quality studying was way better then quantity. I cut my studying probably in 1/4 by senior year and got a 4.0 my last semester in critical care, Leadership, nursing practicum and an online nclex review class. I think they tried to fail us sophomore year, but once i got the hang of studying and figuring out the BEST answer things got way better!!

So far Med Calc has been the easiest and Health assessment has been the hardest.

Easiest : Fundamentals

Hardest: Pharmacology

Easiest: community health nursing

Hardest: pharmacology

Psych, we lost alot of people in that semester. Psych was 2nd half, med surg was first 1/2. 15 people out of 59 failed. Last year they lost 18.

Specializes in Pediatrics.

Easiest: Pharm and Peds

Hardest: Med/Surg I and II
