OK, I have a HP backpack to carry my books, but for one class, I have 4 books. What do you use to carry your books? Don't you have a lot when you start nursing classes?

Have a boatload of books but wasn't required to bring any to class. LOL Had one I would take to lecture periodically and one to lab, but other than my notebook (which weighed a ton in itself) I usually didn't carry any around.
I found that the best packs are the ones made kind of like a briefcase except with a flap that folds over. You can put a ton of stuff in these. Mine is made by MUDD and you can find this brand at major dept. stores.
Thanks everyone. I guess I will start searching when "real" school starts and they have more of a selection. My Harry Potter bag is about to give way and no spell-o-tape will help:p
I have found that a wheeled back pack works the best for me. On days that I don't have to carry a ton of books, I wear the back pack, on the days that I have more I use the wheels and pull it. My back and shoulders appreciate the break. :)
I use a briefcase type book bag. I also don't carry my books to classes, just notebooks, tape recorder, supplies, etc. A lot of students carry the backpacks, but it hurts my back too much.
I switched from a briefcase-like one, to a backpack! As for this Fall, I just found out that I have to buy 8 books! I not sure which ones I have to take to classes, but that's a lot for one class (nursing 101)
