What type of Questions did you get on your Nclex RN?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi there,

I just took the Nclex RN yesterday and I´m dying here trying not to get so anxious to know my results. This is my third attempt to pass the exam. But this time I had to many different questions. I have many SATA, priority, put the correct order, pictures, ECG, meds, and only 1 to calculate med dose. On my previous exams I didn´t have so many of this. What do you think this means? Is a good thing? or these type of questions doesn´t mean anything at all? My exam stopped at 92 questions. I don´t want to do the PVT and I don´t want to waste more money because I come from a very low income family just trying to step up and finally get my license. Your answers will be very appreciate. :(

It just all depends. I took my nclex today and got all sorts of questions but was expecting more stuff that maybe were harder. I don't know at this point if I passed or not but I think I did. I got like 3 exhibition, 1 ECG, correct order for like 4 questions, and a picture.

That's awesome!!! I have a good feeling you passed

I took my nclex yesterday too, mine stopped at 75 questions and i got 21 SATAs, 1 ekg, 1 exhibit and 4 drag & drop. I marked it in my eraseboard every time i got an alternate format question just for the hell of it lol. I did the PVT yesterday when i got home from the exam, I got the good pop-up and i tried the PVT again earlier today when it was past 24hours and still got the good pop-up. Then i just checked my local BON and i now have a license # and RN next to my name. :p

I can't say much about your results based on the questions you got because every one gets a different amount every time, but i will wish you luck and hope for the best! :)

I sure hope so. I feel like I did pass but can't relax until I pay for quick results :(

I´m pretty sure that I didn´t get 21 SATA, but I got a lot compared to my previous exams. I got 4 drag & drop too and 1 EKG. I´ve been scared to try the Pvt because I don´t want to be charged at this moment with 200.00 if I failed. I´m raising money to pay my rent, so I´m limited in this issue. I am trying to compare the questions I got with people who actually passed the nclex, or those who failed the exam.

I´m so happy to announce that I finally PASSED!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! Thanks to God who guided me through this process!!! I´m finally a RN in the U.S.

Congratulations!!!!!! That is so awesome. I hope my results are up by tomorrow

I know you'll pass!!! We had basically the same type of questions! So, don't worry!!! Trust your heart!

I recall a host of questions about genetic disorders I'd never heard of. A few questions were easy. Most were not. I'll admit I didn't study anything other than some random lab values, and I had none of those on the test. I passed on the first try at 75 questions.

I knew my results would be on hold. I really hope that they lift the hold soon. I'm not too worried until I go to pay for quick results. I just somehow feel that NCLEX wasn't as hard as I thought it would be so I'm worrying that I never got the the high level questions.

I'm sure you passed though! Keep your head up!
