Urine, Blood, or Hair? I'm just curious, as I've had a hair test done before and they cut 2 chunks out!! Not sure how that would look now considering my hair is so short!!

I was never drug tested for nursing school, though my employer does pre-employment screening for every hire. I think that's about standard. Hair tests are pretty expensive so most places stick to urine in my experience.
Funny story from school though; in A&P we did urine dips for a lab, and we each had to supply our own sample. A few students must have been concerned that a drug screen was part of it, because when they took their cup to the bathroom, they never returned to lab afterward.

I thought they only had to pull out several strands? I would NOT be happy with chunks-of course-if you really need a job you gotta do it...

lol, that's funny. I could imagine people leaving the class with specimen cups, books, and car keys...

We didn't have one prior to starting but were informed there would be surprise drug tests. I know at my last job they did the hair sample & I was not a happy camper. I have really curly hair so I ended up fighting knots until it grew out uggg would much rather give blood.

nine panel urine drug screen at my school. Also, they have the right to do a random test if they suspect something.

none at all
Maybe it was a 10 panel drug urine screen. :selfbonk: LOL! Sorry, I had to get a bunch of boosters, and other blood work that day, so it has all kind of run together -- but I do now remember peeing in a cup, and none of the other work I had would have required that.
