Registration is Nov 15th - but not sure of the time. I'm trying to get into AP online and I know you have to be quick. So I want to be sitting with everything ready to go the second it opens.

hi stacygirl:

I would try midnight as soon as it turns the 15th...if that doesn't work...if your able to stay up late, I would keep trying all night till it lets you register....:)

i have been at tcc almost 15 years now and registered online since they started online registration and every semester the site opened at 6am (unless things have changed in the last semester cause i was there this summer).

in order to get a seat in a and p online you have to be there at 6am straight up. i know when i registered the class was full within minutes ....you need your course numbers in hand and be able to tpe them in when registration opens up...

Registration opens at 5 a.m. :wink2:

For Fall 08 registration started at 12:01 but was shut down approx 1 hour later. It was opened up early by accident.

I have aked at the school and recieved 2 differents answers, it is either

5AM or 6AM.

Good luck on getting into the class you want.

I talked to someone in the registrar's office....she advised me to try to get on at midnight...Last year, the site closed from 2 am to 5 am; I wasn't able to register until 5. Good luck!

A little trick I learned back when I was at TCC trying to get into the A/P and Micro classess that I wanted....

If you don't get in on Registration day, then wait until the day after you have to pay or drop. A lot of folks will initially register for classes, then decided they don't want to or can't take the class and not put down a payment. (This is before classes begin.) The computer will drop them and usually a good number of seats will open up again. It's kinda a second chance thing that isn't well known.

One cavet...I don't know if it still operates this way or not, but when I was going there, TCC would close the Internet once a week (), and this was usually the day after the drop-dead date (make-a-payment-or-else-date). Don't panic, just log on when they turn it back on and take a looksie.

(I swear, that was more infuriating than anything nursing school could dish out...you don't need to close the web access once a week for "maintenance"! It's not a brick-and-mortar store! Still makes me mad and I haven't been there in a year! LOL!)

Anyway, good luck guys!

Registration opened up at midnight...the system is moving VERY SLOW as everyone is trying to get registered. I finally snagged that online AP course though! Good luck to you all!

Congrats!!

I tried for 20 mins and could never even get into the system.

Good luck on the course

Sandy

I'm sorry! Be sure and check back on December 7 after they drop unpaid registrants. I suggest building a preferred section list beforehand...the day of registration, go in, click register for previously selected courses. It will pull up your list of preferred courses..all you have to do is select 'register' and it will put you in. It is much easier than entering in the section numbers. What classes do you have left?

I am probably better going to class instead of taking it online so it probably

worked out for the best for me.

I have A&P 1 and 2, English math and Micro to go still.

I will not be done till next Fall.

How much do you have left?

and congrats again on making it into the course.

I am just taking the AP class and Micro and I will be done... What campus do you attend? If you attend SE, I STRONGLY recommend Lorraine Smith for AP 1 and 2.....I have a 100% average in that class. She really encourages her students and wants them to do well. She allows you to do a 5 minute presentation to add 5 points to your overall AVERAGE as many times as you would like until you get the grade you are satisfied with. Good luck! I suggest A. Lounsbury for English. She is awesome!
