WHat Text books did you use for A&P 1n2

Can you tell me how much they were and what they were called

We used Tortora and Gabowski . The lecture book was $110 and the lab book was $40. I really did enjoy learning out of this book.

Specializes in A little of this, a little of that.....

Way back in the stone ages, I think we used Tortura.

Now, the main A&P teacher wants the students to use the book HE authored. Kinda ridiculous, eh? :uhoh3:

My zoology instructor did the same thing. I could not STAND it. I guess the only upside was that we got extra credit if we found any typos in the text, and there were plenty to find. ;)

i'm taking a&p now. the books are: fundamentals of anatomy & physiology by frederic h. martini (comes with two helpful cd's)$113.00 (used); the anatomy coloring book by wynn kapit/lawrence m. elson ($19.99); atlas of the human body by frederic h. martini (came with "fundamentals); and a&p applications manual by frederic h. martini and kathleen welch (came with "fundamentals". i also bought foundation of microbiology ($134.00) because i originally thought i would take it this semester. it helped a lot in my a&p i class. so i'm glad i bought it.

if it is to be, it's up to me. i'm it!

I use Marieb's Human Anatomy & Physiology. The 6th edition cost me $60 on amazon. We also used the fetal pig dissection manual in A&P1. I had to buy that new, and it cost almost $100.
