Do you take A&P, microbiology,chemistry I nursing school. What are other subjects you take in nursing school such as medical surgical nursing and pharmacology and fundamentals of nursing.

Yes. Lab goes with every class. The skills you learn pertain to whatever subject matter.

I'm in Canada and in an RPN program (2 years) - These were my classes
First
Anatomy 1
Health & Healing 1 (Case studies and NCLEX style test questions)
Professional Development
Computers in Nursing (learning to use the programs they use in hospitals etc.)
Lab 1
Clinical 1 (LTC placement)
Second
Patho/Pharm 2
Health & Healing 2
Lab 2
Developmental Psychology
Clinical 2 (Medical)
Third

And then in fourth semester we have the above classes for 7 weeks and then for the last 7 weeks we have pre-grad where we work 40 hrs per week with a preceptor.

I am in a four year traditional BSN program. Currently, I am in year 3. I am at a Catholic university, so two religion classes are required too.

What does fundamentals of nursing g over, what about maternal and child health nursing, psychiatric nursing, OB/Maternity. I am trying to learn this stuff as much as I can so I been buying books related to nursing school on pharmacology how to make care plans and so on. been buying off of amazon.

You need to wait until school starts.The teacher will cover what you need to know.

Don't get ahead of yourself. It will all come in good time and your school will teach you about care plans, the nursing process, pharmacology and all the other things you need to know.
