Having a difficult admin is a challenge. Mine is almost always awesome...until I am too loud, caring or whatever upsets the balance in a Type A world. I have no doubt I am respected professionally for what I bring to the school and the kids and staff. However, this person likes things just so and has apoplexy when looking at my desk! I can find what ever I need and don't need to have my pencils all lined up for the next day.
I was waiting for Old Dude or Flare to say that you're only one crisis away from being the best thing since fried potatoes....truth.Do you feel like having a conversation with this person? Or do you think that's not even going to help?
I have only spoken to her like twice for 2 seconds each time. she seems to avoid me, and I have not initiated a conversation with her, she is VERY busy (a lot more discipline issues here). I should talk with her, but I am afraid!!! LOL (I know, right!)

From the fire into the flames???
Well, that is me! As you may recall I left my other school due to not getting along with principal, and now i am at new school. And guess what? Principal here is even a bigger WITCH (yes that is totally possible!) than other one!!!
This school is much older and I have 2 buildings, and so I do a ton of running around, which is good (maybe I will lose a pound or two!).
Anyway, I am still happy I made the switch and I have been dotting my I's and crossing my T's and being the PERFECT school nurse ever! But I just have a feeling that new principal hates me...of course if she spoke to old principal that would make sense (I am hoping she didn't but you never know). I don't know why the original nurse left here, and I did not speak to new nurse at my old school, and I would not diss them anyway.
Oh well, politics of schools, basically if you are not a teacher you are crap to them, and get blamed for everything! I still love it though, and wouldn't go back to to hospital nursing ever!
