What # of questions did u pass the NCLEX with?

Published

HI, I took the NCLEX yesterday and think I failed. The computer stopped at 105 or 106 questions and I felt it was pretty hard. I came home and looked up some of the "easy" questions I remembered and got them wrong. Just wondering cause everyone seems to pass with 75 or 265 questions.

I passed with 75 questions. I was admist a violent fury to get those questions answered when the computer, just suddenly turned off. I just freaked and got out of there as fast as I could, thinking, no, knowing that I failed. I tried to tell myself that this awful feeling would pass for not passing it the first time. I proceeded to a liquor store. What, 9am was too early to drink? :D I was going through some high anxiety when the two days finally passed. I went to a library because I didn't have internet and bam there was my name upon the masses that had passed. So, don't think the worst, just hope for the best. And guess what, if you do fail, you will learn from that experience and will take it again with flying colors! Best wishes!

LyndzBenz, I am taking it tomorrow afternoon and I plan to hit the liquor store afterwards too.

passed with 75, had only 1 math question which i was sure i failed, guess not :)

Passed with 75 questions on first time taking it. Many SATA questions, prioritizing and medication questions....... I also noticed that my questions were getting harder as i went along. Keep the faith! i also left the tesing center feeling like i failed but nope...... finally got that R.N, B.S.N behind my name :nurse:

75 on the first try

75 questions on the first try and walked out 2 hours later.

I walked out with mixed feelings, because there were some questions I thought were fairly "easy" compared to Kaplan. And I hear if you feel like the test was easy, you probably wasnt doing to good. But I passed!

I thought Kaplan questions were more difficult than NCLEX too. NCLEX was easier than what I had expected before going into the exam. I came out of the exam knowing I passed and certainly did passed.

75 questions on the first try! When it shut off @ 75, I knew I passed. I didn't think it was as difficult as I thought it would be. There was only one question where I had never heard of the disease. Mine seemed like 1/2 basic and safe nsg and the other half prioritization, meds and infection control. The hard part was deciding between 2 answers. I think I had 25-30 priority. But I prepared for 2 months in advance so I knew going in that I couldn't have studied anymore than I did. I was a lil scared that I only got 3 SATA, 2 math and no OB. I also got 3 psychosocial and 1 ped. It all seemed to be med/surg.

I had 75 questions, tons of SATA, tons of priority, 6 or 7 medications, and lots of infection control. Good luck to you.
