  1. Started with 100 classmates, 5 males. Graduated with 80, 2 males.
  2. Congratulations!!!! I will be taking mine in the next couple of weeks and extremely nervous. I have done three review classes. One of which was Saunders. My question is the same as nurse2be, are the saunders questions harder or able the same as the NCLEX? Congrats again:yeah::yeah:
  3. Congratulations!!!!!! I'm so happy for you. Wow, 22 select all that apply. I will be taking mine in a couple of weeks. I'm so nervous. Congrats again, go celebrate.
  4. Well I picked my date today. I have decided not to tell anyone. The pressure is just unreal. I didn't think I would be sooo nervous. I've got to really get to it now.
  5. BSN accelerated is faster. Your profile states you are in Charlotte. I am a graduate from WSSU, Winston Salem State, the accelerated program there is 13 months. I personally know people in the accelerated program who lived in Charlotte that would commute or stayed on campus. It may be worth checking out.
  6. Thanks, I guess you right. I just need to do it.
  7. I know I have butterflies everywhere. Who would have thought I would have been so nervous. lol
  8. Well gang, I just received my ATT and now I'm nervous as heck. Don't want to look to see what days are open. I thought I knew what time frame I wanted to test in but now unsure. Any suggestions to get over the nervousness:uhoh21:
  9. I live in VA at the border of NC and have not found a job yet. There are only about 15 from my class that has found employment so far. We had a graduating class of 86. All the hospital jobs on this end has a freeze on them. However, most of the nursing homes are hiring and desperately seeking. The salary rate here is $17-22. I'm still looking and waiting.:redbeathe
  10. Many thanks to everyone for their recommendations. I am using the Saunders Comprehensive Review and Q&A and also doing a Kaplan Review Course at my school. I have not received my ATT yet but expecting it any day now. Will keep everyone informed of what's going on. Again thanks so much.:redbeathe
  11. I just graduated my BSN program May 9th. I am now in the process of preparing for the boards. Can anyone suggest which NCLEX book is the best to prepare from, Kaplan or Saunders? Thanks
  12. I can testify with KristyBRN. I am only a nursing student but I too have had a pt to tell me that I am an angel of mercy. I have not posted anything in a while, because I had to drop out of school for a while, due to some unforeseen circumstances. However, I have returned although I transferred to a university and seeking a BSN now. I love nursing because I'm constantly learning more and more everyday I'm able to share knowledge with my family and friends about their health, and to my surprise, they actually listened and apply most of the knowledge that I share with them. I love learning from my teachers, clinical instructors, and the nurses. Their knowledge and experiences that they share only makes it that much more excited. But most of all I love helping the pts. Even if it seems to me that I have done nothing at all. These people are genuinely grateful for what you do for them. That makes all the difference and makes it worth while for me. By the way my new expected graduation day is May 2009.
  13. :balloons: Congrats
  14. It is not an requirement at our school, but I took it last semester and loved it. I only wish that I have taken it with my prereqs. It was horrible for me trying to figure out what the words meant in A&P. Im in my second semester now and its flowing much easier now that I know how to break down the words. I feel like it should be required for any medical field.
  15. Congrats :balloons:
