Nurses LPN/LVN
Published May 28, 2015
I'm starting nursing school and I have had others tell me that LPN don't make but like $10.00 an hour. And I'm thinking they are way wrong I. What they are saying.

Actually we have several people that are repeating block 3, so you are not kicked out of the program. True it's a bummer to have to repeat a block, but most successful people don't succeed on their first try! I have enjoyed my time as an LPN, however, I find that the opportunities are more limited. My advice to everyone is to always follow your passion if you possibly can. You will find happiness in that place and usually the money will follow! Don't be afraid of failure, most people in our class of 42 are passing and our school is tough!

It depends on where you live, where you work and your other work experience and background. I am an LPN with additional certifications and many years of experience in business. I am the Location Director of a Pediatric Home Healthcare Agency and have many RNs that work for me.

It's like 13-15 per hour here in NC
Our nursing assistants make more than that!
