I'm a junior at Walla Walla College in Portland, OR. The main campus is in Walla Walla, WA. Only nursing majors are on the Portland campus, and it's great because of the small size. We have about 80 nursing students (juniors and seniors). It's a 7th day Adventist college (although I'm not Adventist). I think we have the best, most supportive staff. They really want you to succeed, and bend over backwards to help you. Anyway, I love my school and think that this is the best one in Portland (we have 4 BSN programs).
Just completed (TODAY!) my first semester of a 5 semester ADN program at Pensacola Junior College.
14 days away from graduation at Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University.......:balloons: :smiley_aa
I'm going to miss it, it's a wonderful program. We have about 90 graduating in my class, and 100 in the class behind me, but you still have fantastic interaction with your professors and small class sizes.
I am now a senior nursing student at Walters State Community College in Morristown, TN. I live in Sevierville, TN. Home of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. My school offers an ADN in nursing. I just finished up my second semester in Med/Surg I. I start my OB/Peds/Psych rotation in the fall. Spring 2007 will be my last semester which is called Advanced Med/Surg when you do your preceptorship. I cannot wait to graduate! I am so excited. It has been a long and tough year. I am going through nursing school as a single mother trying to support my children on $700 a month. I am glad to have the summer off to work a little bit. I got an externship at a hospital nearby, but I have another long tough year ahead, but it will all be worth it!
