What is your net take home pay every two weeks?

Published

I have read many posts regarding pay rates. However, once deductions and such have been taken out, what are you left with post tax, benefits, etc.

Can you tell me the state or province you are in also?

Thanks.

I live in Ontario Canada, gross about 1700.00 every two weeks, bring home net about 1200.00 How does that compare? I am in critical care. My deductions are about 300 for tax, 100 for other government stuff, like unemployment insurance, and then the rest is for dental, long term disability, union dues ( 50 bucks a month for union dues) etc.

Appreciate input! Thanks J.

Oh and I am day shift too =) so I don't get any differentials except on weekends an extra $4.50/hr

nights at 32 dollars an hour with differential and occasional charge pay...Thats after 20 years or so in one place. STILL not nearly enough for what I (we) have to do or the skills we have. Best thing that happened to our salary was the MNA.Started in the facility after negotiation to make a little more for the experience I had, and made 8 dollars an hour....So, there has been progress...

Tracy......

Ya got me beat..I only bring jome on the average..with no OT 3150.00 every 2 weeks. course I do get a 5% pay raise next month. I just got an 11% raise last month...gotta love it when the hospital throws money at the nurses to keep them.

Dave

P.S. course ammo for shooting all those terrorist scum keeps going up so I gotta work some OT to pay for it...hehehe

aBOUT $1100 for PART TIME (24/WEEK).

More when I work 12 hr shifts, get time and a half.

I average 2400-3000/month US. But NO benefits.

Holy crap, my pay sucks. Too embarassed to tell...

:chuckle Yeah Susy, I think Ill keep my mouth shut in this thread too!

But then again, if I worked more than 2-3 days a week, I might be bringing home some money!

hmmmmmmmmm....uhhhhh....

about $3200 US take home q 2 weeks

What the heck?? :D

I take home $1400 US dollars q 2weeks. Clinic setting.

About $600 in taxes is taken out q 2 weeks.

My husband and I paid about $25,000 in taxes last year. According to a recent article (I'll have to find the source, but it was on the Fox news.com) my husband and I, having no kids and a dual income, pay about 50% of ALL taxes in the US, as our incomes suddenly constitute what is considered "affluent."

CRIPES! :(

Uhhh...

Heather, Shay and I have been confused before (oddly enough people think we look alike though they've never seen us and we've never met each other) but that was SHAY that posted that!

Where in Alabama do you work, nurs4kids?? LOL

I forgot to mention my side job as a lap dancer..I figured that into my original answer..hehe

LOL!! Guys, I was lying; hence the coughing and nervous twitch..

Now, honestly..I work at one of the most underpaid hospitals in B'ham (they have a monopoly..if ya wanna do peds, they know you'll stay there)..average $1100 q2w w/o OT

:sniff: :sniff:

as a LPN in a small town nursing home my usual take home pay is about $800 q2w.

but then thats what LPN stands for: Low Paid Nurse LOL

I gross about 1.300.00 q 2 weeks but I bring home about 925.00 after I have the family insurance and taxes deducted. Still for an LPN this ain't bad gravy! I think for the amount of butts I cover w/ my charting, mine being the 1 st, I am worth about 2 bucks more an hour ( in my mind:chuckle :chuckle ) Laura LPN--shift diff & weekend diff are wonderful things
