And did you have to treat them?
I am just curious. Your stories always seem to either crack me up or shake my head in amazement.
Thanks for sharing ?
yes, he required surgery to remove the bones. and a lengthy psych admission.
He must not be obligated to pay her medical bills!Seriously, the ER where I work sees kids all the time who are having hours-long tantrums that DO NOT end, and these kids get admitted to the psych unit. How old is the child and what was she doing?
2 1/2 y/o crying and screaming, she didnt get ice cream or something and after 30 minutes he didnt know how to handle it, so rather than call his exwife he went to the ER.
Still consider myself new to the ED, so I am still amazed. Recently we had a 7 y/o sent to us from a county mental health councelor because the child was acting up during a scheduled office visit. The childs father was present at the office, and transported the child. After being medically cleared, we called the mental health councelor so he or she could come and finish their counseling. Needless to say we were packed, and the child was actually seen in our code room. ASB was the final Dx I believe.

Just goes to emphasize that even though some people are capable of breeding, doesnt necessarily mean they should be allowed to breed.
Diagnosis in above case we call P.P.P.S.
- had a mom bring in her 14 year old son b/c he had a low-grade fever for 30 minutes
- had someone come in b/c they wanted to change the colour of their cast
- had a teenage girl come in b/c she'd had sex the night before and wanted to get a pregnancy test to see if she was pregnant

CC - "My boyfriend and I were having sex and all of a sudden I felt my heart beat fast and I couldn't catch my breath and I made him stop and bring me straight here!"
This was a 19y/o female who arrived in her boyfriend's arms, hyperventilating, with a look of sheer terror on her face.
I sent the boyfriend out and we had a chat about orgasms. She still insisted something was wrong, was registered, seen by the doctor and sent home, still sure she was gripped by the hogjowls of death, with the obvious diagnosis.
Poor dude!

Just goes further to convince me that some people should be forever removed from the ability to breed. Support Eugenics

what did they do with him? i can't imagine that you can just leave the bones in there. did they have to scope him to get them out? bet the urologist loved that call.
