Not really humorous, but I think it fits. I ask this at work and even got a couple of drs to tell me what they did.
As for me, I worked at Dillard's in Juniors. Their pay system was awful.

I was the dog catcher for Josephine Country OR.
MOst recent non medical would be credit processor for Countrywide Home Loans during the great housing bubble that lead to the Great Recession!

Before nsg school, I delivered free samples door-to-door in designated areas. Like put the item in a baggie bag and leave it on a doorknob.
I remember some kind of spaghetti sauce and some soapsuds.

A bank teller who DESPERATELY wanted to be a nurse! I was beyond THRILLED when I finalllllly got into nursing school!

I forgot - I was a data-entry person just before and during early NS.
What a difference between private industry and health care!!
