What I Love About Nursing Is....

I'm a nursing student...therefore, i can't wait to experience all the good times and all the bad ones too (you have to take one with the other). So far, i learnt that nursing is the element of caring...history shows us that. So, i will base my nursing on caring and learning from my experience now to perfect my practice in the future.

I love connecting with other human beings, knowing I have affected them in a good way, having a job that is important, healing people physically and psychologically and having fun with the kids I care for, and the staff I work with.

well as a student nurse i feel great when im able to give them comfort.there's one time a had this little girl who is anxious of white gowns the moment i entered her room to take her VS i knew she wont let me assess her so i let her play my stethoscope after that she became excited each time i'll enter her room..and another time i had this psychiatric patient in a psychiatric hospital before we said our gudbyes since it'll be my last day in that particular hospital..he said good luck on my boards...i was pretty amaze when he able to say that knowing that he is mentally incapacitated..i just really hope i'll pass my board for the first time...itz really hard to take care of a person whom you are not personally related to..ryt??

Being able to make a whole lot of difference .... making people smile and trust you .... seeing that they get better each day.

I just feel a lot of compassion in this profession. I love being a nurse and I'm proud to be one! :heartbeat

because nursing is a continuation of jesus christ's ministry of healing. their is no other job in the world like it. i love being a nurse. :)

May i know what do u mean by "without representation"

I believe she's referring to the duty of a nurse to be the patient's advocate. Most patients are too sick to be able to help themselves and what a good nurse does is to represent the patient's interests in any given situation.
