What thing do you think is really cool that every one else thinks is really gross?
I love it when we lance a big sebaceous cyst. I think it is so cool when all of that gunk comes out. Now, I don't want to touch it, I just like to watch. Totally gross huh.
I am Yvonne B. and I am a picker... OK my secret is out. I love to pop, pick squeeze and drain. I do not know what it is about it, but it is strangely satisfying. I, too love to assist in chest tube drain placement..oh so dang cool! I like to clean navels and clip nails too. Everyone knows I have been on when those two sites have been attended. I think I like it because it looks so horrid when neglected and its something I can quickly do while waiting for whatever.
I love a good head injury!!!! Lots of blood! Deglovings are cool, Motorcycle wrecks on the freeway.....
Ain't nothin' like a good trauma to get you through the day!!!!
I know; I'm sick. I figure, it's gonna happen anyway, I might as well be there to watch(help, whatever!!)!

I love watching chest tube placements. When the surgeon digs his fingers into the hole to spread the ribs, then put the chest tube in and ...whoosh! So cool to watch, and for all the pain it causes the pt. is suddenly much more comfortable and able to breathe again. Very cool. And cracking chests - that is something I've only seen once so far but amazing to watch.
I DO NOT do "pudding" urine though...yuk. I try to wait to gag till I'm out of the room.
