We seem compared to others here to have it easier,but we were told to keep our As at the door, and the class average should be less then a 80 or the test way too easy.
C 69.5-79.4
B 79.5-89.4
A 89.5-100
I know there are + and -, but don't know exactly
Anything less then a 69.5 is failing.
I wish to god our school would round. People have failed for a tenth of a point. We only get what we earn, PERIOD. Plus our test scores must met the minimum before any other points are added. So, if you don't pass the test you cant use your points from assignments to bring you up to a passing grade.
I got my degree in Sweden so the grading system is a bit different.
90-100 = "Pass with honours"
75-89,99 = Pass
The exception was dosage calculation. Three exams (one each during year one, two and three with 30 to 40 questions/calculations on each exam) where:
100 = Pass
Anything less than 100 = Fail.
The rationale for this was that making a med error on every tenth or other random number of patients is not acceptable.

This was our exception also. We had 4 dosage calcualation tests where you had to score a 100 on. We had someone fail it in the last semester.
