I actually raised my GPA in nursing school. It's easier for me to excel in subjects that interest me, and I knew that having a good GPA was required for masters programs. I have never understood the concept of " C's get degrees; it's an excuse in my opinion.
Finally someone with my GPA. There's hope ?

Depends on what the cut-off is this admittance period for that school. Sometimes cut-off runs low, sometimes cut-off runs high. Depends how high the GPA's were of the other students applying.

So it all depends on GPA? Gosh that sucks. Me and this other girl applied to the same school. She has a 3.8 GPA. Her ACT score is a 23. I have a 23 also. So depending on the cutoff, she will get chosen over me huh?

It depends on several factors like GPA, test scores, essays/interviews, etc. Check the school website and see if they post the profiles of the previously accepted students.

It depends on what criteria the school uses for admission. Some use a mixture of GPA, test scores, essay, volunteer/work experience, ect. Some use just GPA and test scores.
My school uses just pre-req GPA and your HESI test score, with GPA holding 90% of the weight for admittance. The cut-off for my school is almost always around 3.7.

It honestly really depends on the school... I live in Westchester county in NY, the ADN programs out here all have different qualifications.. For instance WCC uses the TEAS exam for their primary decision and only required to get C's. Cochran (which is my school) looks at your grades/ GPA , still have to take TEAS but admissions is not heavily weighed on that. I was accepted into Cochran with A's in A&P 1&2 , and contingent upon receiving a C+or higher in micro. Dorothy Hopher is another one that uses the TEAS exam. Pace looks at GPA 3.0 or higher. Mount Saint Vincent 3.0 or higher, etc... My point is it depends on the school and their criteria.

I understand. I am driving myself crazy wondering if I will be accepted or not. I need to stop!

That's normal.... I did the same thing, and I'm sure mostly everyone else did too. ?

My bachelors degree GPA was a 3.8, which is what I used when applying to nursing school. I also made a 28 on my ACT, which helped quite a bit.
