  1. Your req gpa does not mean u will do well or bad... Nursing is a whole different animal... I'm a first semester ADN student, I went In thinking I would have no life etc... Honestly I did very well with little studying.. 3.7 gpa, imagine if i would have studied ! Its all about putting together what u are reading and learning, good luck. I know people with masters and bachelors that barely made it thru the program.
  2. Only answer in have for you is RNA Single stranded virus: poliovirus Double stranded RNA: HIV
  3. First exam 85... I'll take that... Only 40 questions not much wiggle room... Passing at my school is 80
  4. We've been assigned 27 chapters to read and several power point handouts that we've done in class.... Talk about overwhelmed! And my exam is Monday!! Good luck
  5. Back for an update!!! About 20 chapters of reading for an exam feb 4 th! Ok. #teamnolife
  6. I paid 89$ for my uniform, only bought one.. Jacket, pants and shirt..It did include patches..
  7. ****and I am starting my nursing program Monday,so needless to say it didn't hurt me to do that.
  8. I would repeat the courses to replace the grades. C's in most programs I've looked into wont even accept them. Most are C+ or higher. I did that myself. I had a C in sociology 12 years ago, repeated it and received an A, also did the same thing for a&p 1. Took it Yeats ago received a C+ repeated it and received an A. You want your pre req grades to be as competitive as possible. Good luck
  9. No 2 year ADN program
  10. Has anyone started their program yet? If so have you started studying yet? I had registration day last week and orientation is next week as well as the start of nursing basics ! Already have several reading assignments to be done and a unit exam scheduled on feb 4th I guess we jumped right in!!!
  11. When do U start your program? That's a lot to do in a short period of time sheesh!! I had to do all of that too!! Thanks gosh they have it to me months ago! Good luck ! I had registration today, and my orientation is Monday and Tuesday, then classes begin Wednesday! Congrats to the both of us, many would love to be starting a program right now. It's a big accomplishment !
  12. Lol. Agreed. That's ridiculous and unnecessary ! It really doesn't take that much for that class
  13. 2 hours a day for 5 days is enough. I studied 2 hours a day and skipped weekends to be with my kids and hubby.. I got an A in both a&p 1&2.
