What courses if any are you taking this summer?

i am starting school again after so many yrs. ccbc summer courses a broken into 2 sessions session 1 i am taking dev. math 81, sociology 101 online and english 101 online in session2 i am just taking dev. math 082.

p.s my nursing advisor has mapped out my courses up until my admission to the nursing program.:nurse::typing

Taking A&P I for Summer 1 from May 27 - July 3 and Chem 105 for Summer 2 from July 7 - Aug. 14. Aug 14 are finals for Chemistry then off to a 9 night cruise the same day! Luckily, the cruise leaves from Bayonne, NJ --only a 25 min ride. Re A&P---other students already have me failing since I'm taking it during the summer. Incredible! I know that it will be hard---but pul----lease!

Guys - how it goes? For me it is two more weeks and I will have a break! So far I have two A and one A minus :yeah: I am so happy

Even tough finals are in two weeks I am confident to keep my grades. I have worked really hard!

Hi there Yennefer & all.....I had to back out of the Chem course I was taking earlier...I took one that was over my head, will retake a different chem course in the spring...so I doubled up on two more pre-reqs...Sociology & English II....am now thinking about RN as associates only and BA in Sociology....

Hi Donster...what's an "Independent" Study in Fluids & Electrlytes? Is it a regular course, or a group study someone initiated?

Just finished Micro and Pharmacology with A's.

In the fall I'll take Physiology, Human Growth and Development, and a medical terminology class for kicks. Then it's application time!

Hi Donster...what's an "Independent" Study in Fluids & Electrlytes? Is it a regular course, or a group study someone initiated?

At our school, we have to have a nursing elective course (one credit hour)for the degree; there's the F/E, one in OB nursing, and I think there are a couple of clinically based electives as well (mentoring, telemetry, etc).

The F/E that I'm taking is done independently in that there are no classroom activities. We have a textbook, and reading and written assignments due by a certain date. When all of the written work is completed and accepted, we schedule the final to be taken on campus.

Some of the electives are classroom taught; mine is one that just happens to not be.

I wish you much luck and success. Where are you moving to in FL? We relocated to upstate NY from West Palm Beach.

Hi Donster,

I'm "temporarily" removed from Ft. Myers. Husband is working in Maryland...Edison College in Ft. Myers had a BA nursing program, the community college I transferred to does not, but I do get the benefit of instruction from many Johns Hopkins professors.

I miss Florida SO much, enjoy it...the air is so clean & the sky is endless!
