Specializes in ER nurse, FNP student.

I want to apply to different schools, so I'm just trying to see what is the average price for FNP online programs.

Thanks!

Specializes in Psychiatric and emergency nursing.

I went to the University of South Alabama. Had I not taken out the max in student loans a few semesters to consolidate some debt, the cost would have been $24,500 for the whole program.

So there are other folks out there like me lol. Not the wisest financial decision but I felt a bit accomplished with something in my life. I'm currently in USA's Post Master's AGPCNP program and it is estimated to be about $25K.

Indeed, you are not alone. LOL! The good thing with my track is that a lot of jobs offer loan repayment assistance, so hopefully I can finagle most if not all of that money back from a job *fingers crossed*

That's what I'm hoping for too. Most of them want FNPs but I've seen a few of those facilities looking for Adult NPs. So I have all kinda fingers, toes and anything else I can find, crossed! LOL

Chamberlain (aka Devry) is $40k for an online FNP.

I am actually considering Chamberlain, but it says $33,600 for the total tuition on https://www.chamberlain.edu/docs/default-source/financial-aid/tuition-and-fees-total-cost-calculations_july_2016.pdf?sfvrsn=2

I attended the and received my MSN (FNP) and DNP for free...here is how I did it...I joined the TN National Guard and they pay for everything! Talk about a deal! I have to laugh when I hear RN complain about student loans when all they had to do was going up and get their bills paid for free.....unless you are part of the left where the thought of America sickens you..

Um, excuse me?

Not sure you read it correctly -- if you are enrolled in the RN-BSN-MSN program then the MSN portion of that program is 33,600..

If you enroll directly in the FNP MSN program -- assuming you already have a BSN from another program -- then the estimated cost would be 38,160

There are multiple reasons for one not joining the armed forces, none of them having anything to do with America sickening them.

Then there are those of us that have already spent time in the real military that don't want to go back just to finance an education, especially when tensions between the US and other countries currently seem to be at an all-time high.
