Just curious what your student uniforms look like. Our uniform is white pants, light blue polo, white vest....all issued by the school.
Horrible white tops with logo and they zip up the front. Really awful. Burgundy pants. White shoes. Lab coats are optional in clinical but you must wear in lab. They can be any white lab coat but it must have school logo. I really wish they would lose the ugly white shirts and go with a scrub shirt or something. It is stiff and uncomfortable and unisex so they do not fit women very well.
We are in Tennessee but wear "Gator" colors. They call us "gator girls" when we walk down the hall. We wear bright orange tops (scrub or collared with embroidered logo) and blue pants, with a blue lab coat.
For LPN we had to wear uniforms even to class. They were hunter green top and bottoms with elastic waistband...horrible.
For CNA we wore all white, thankfully that was only 5 weeks!!
We're all white as well, and we also have the horribly ugly and uncomfortable collared zip-up tops. Patch on left shoulder along with blue and gold (school colors) stripes on the sleeves. Lab coats with patch as well. I wouldn't even mind the white so much, but they're made out of the Nanotex fabric, which is so stiff.
Ours are "Caribbean blue" which is actually more of a dark greenish/navy color--I don't know how they call it caribbean! Pants and a lab coat with a white polo. We are supposed to be getting scrub tops in the same color blue shortly after classes start they say. We do have the school patch on the sleeve.
For our hospital placement, we have to wear white with the school crest on the left sleeve. Only one location for the first semester could wear anything else, including prints (as long as it isn't plain black). We all hate the white, but it makes us certainly stand out on the floor during clinical.
Hunter green. Hunter green jacket with the school crest on the arm. Hunter green scrub top with the school name in white on the left side. And hunter green pants. With white shoes.
It makes me look and feel like gumby when I have the jacket, top, and pants on. The nurses on the floors like to call us green beans.
I so wish we could be in a normal color like blue or black or something besides hunter green!
