What classes are you taking?

So what classes are you taking this fall to prepare to get into nursing school? I am going to register for my classes in a few days so I'm looking for some ideas.

This Semester

Algebra

Social Analytical and Critical Thinking

Developemental Psychology

Spanish

Public Speaking

and Weight Training (for endorphins and sanity)

Total Units: 19

And I'm working somewhere around full time... I'm ready to DIE

How are you liking Comp III? online or in class?

I loved A&P II more than I, doing Pulic Speaking, Patho and Chemistry. will pick up College Algebra online 2nd 1/2 of quarter

This fall I'm taking, A&P 1, Health and Nutrition, World History, and a computer class. I'm super excited, but nervous from all the horror stories I hear about A&P :cry:

A&P 1 just requires much studying! Nothing impossible!

Womp. I'm just super nervous for Chemistry! I didn't have the best time with it in high school. :/ hope it's easy-ish..lol

Chem is not that bad. Just get the concepts of the math problems and its a piece of cake :)

Im taking A&P II, Microbiology and chemistry.. These are the only classes I have left in order to apply Nursing program in Jan of next year.

I am going to be taking Pharmacology this fall.. its the pre-admission course as part of the nursing program. Once I pass this course then I can officially start the nursing program

I'm taking 6 classes this fall:

Physiology

Microbiology

Microbiology Lab

Pharmacology

Human Growth & Development

Introduction to Health Professions (had to substitute this for Phlebotomy Externship, can't devote 18 hours at the hospital)

Yes....it's a lot!!! However, I'll be able to apply to nursing school in January. If I didn't, I'd have to wait an entire year to be able to apply again. I'll do my Phlebotomy Externship in January. That way, I'll have plenty of time to devote to putting in 18 hours a week at the hospital. I'll also take some classes towards the BSN while I'm waiting to start nursing school (Pathophysiology, Statistics, Organich Chem, etc.)
