What classes are you taking? Fall 2016

Published

Just thought it might be nice to have people to chat with over the course of this semester!

I'm taking:

A&P I

Statistics

Speech

Nutrition

School starts for me tomorrow!

My big first exam is tomorrow in lecture. We covered all the cavities regions and organs. I can't wait to get it over with.

Good luck!

I have my first med term test in the morning that I know for sure I will fail. Didn't know how to study for this type of class. There's always next time.😫

Im just starting out to same classes expect I'm taking bio 1200, ELG 111 and some first year experience class. Good luck! :x3:

Specializes in Emergency.

Good luck to everyone taking their exams today! I'm living vicariously through you. I start my classes in 11 days (A&P 1 and ENG 101).

How is everyone holding up?

I'm doing fairly well. I've got A's in all my classes except Speech (oddly enough) where I have a B - but the quizzes have nothing to do with the chapter outlines, which makes it really hard to study. I'll bring it up, hopefully.

I have my first lab exam tomorrow in A&P. I'm a little nervous, because I've never taken a practical exam before, but I feel pretty confident about my cavities/tissues/body parts/cell bits/directional terms/planes/etc.

Hope everyone is doing well!

I'm doing well so far. Tomorrow I have my first AP lab exam as well. Anatomy/atoms and molecules/histology/mitosis. Feeling confident but you just never know. ;)

Good luck!! We can do it!

I'm doing well. So far I have A in A&P. A in my Math for health Sciene and an A in Eng. I had my first exam last week in A&P and got a 100. I was so excited and happy. Good luck on your exam. You got this.

Had to drop my medical terminology class yesterday. I was afraid I would fail it. It's not a required class but it is recommended. I might take it next semester or in the summer. Biology class was going great until we stared The Chemistry of Life section. It's so boring and confusing to me now. Might get a tutor. I want to get least a B in this class.

That's fantastic! Great job!

I'm taking it in my final semester - was it difficult?

Chemistry can be a challenge. I had such a terrible teacher that he was fired. We had been his first and only class. I watched a lot of YouTube videos for clarification. Good luck!

Took three Chem quizzes, which are really a buffer. First one received 7 out of the 10 points. Minor issue of placenent of decinals and counting sig figs out. The big exam is coming up in a week or 2 super nervous. The lab report with abstract, homework, and data chart is due on Monday eek!

Took my AP1 exam. Receives a 76. Not terrible was hoping for a 90 so I could avoid taking the final. For me I studied really hard on RNA, DNA, ATP, Anatomy we learned, Organelles, and Transcription/Protein Synthesis. I kind of glanced over the Planes and Anatomic Locations. The instructor gave us the questions prior to the exam must of not transcribed all the questions so I studied verbatim what he gave us. So I didn't understand 5 questions and the Planes/Anatomic Location terms threw me off.

I realized need to breathe and slow down.

I thought I read the hand is blank to the forearm which would be distal. However, the question was the arm is blank to the forearm. The answer is proximal being proximate not distal, distant away from the body.
