Just thought it might be nice to have people to chat with over the course of this semester!
I'm taking:
A&P I
Statistics
Speech
Nutrition
School starts for me tomorrow!
How is everyone holding up?
I'm doing fairly well. I've got A's in all my classes except Speech (oddly enough) where I have a B - but the quizzes have nothing to do with the chapter outlines, which makes it really hard to study. I'll bring it up, hopefully.
I have my first lab exam tomorrow in A&P. I'm a little nervous, because I've never taken a practical exam before, but I feel pretty confident about my cavities/tissues/body parts/cell bits/directional terms/planes/etc.
Hope everyone is doing well!
Had to drop my medical terminology class yesterday. I was afraid I would fail it. It's not a required class but it is recommended. I might take it next semester or in the summer. Biology class was going great until we stared The Chemistry of Life section. It's so boring and confusing to me now. Might get a tutor. I want to get least a B in this class.

I'm taking it in my final semester - was it difficult?
Chemistry can be a challenge. I had such a terrible teacher that he was fired. We had been his first and only class. I watched a lot of YouTube videos for clarification. Good luck!
Took three Chem quizzes, which are really a buffer. First one received 7 out of the 10 points. Minor issue of placenent of decinals and counting sig figs out. The big exam is coming up in a week or 2 super nervous. The lab report with abstract, homework, and data chart is due on Monday eek!
Took my AP1 exam. Receives a 76. Not terrible was hoping for a 90 so I could avoid taking the final. For me I studied really hard on RNA, DNA, ATP, Anatomy we learned, Organelles, and Transcription/Protein Synthesis. I kind of glanced over the Planes and Anatomic Locations. The instructor gave us the questions prior to the exam must of not transcribed all the questions so I studied verbatim what he gave us. So I didn't understand 5 questions and the Planes/Anatomic Location terms threw me off.
I realized need to breathe and slow down.
I thought I read the hand is blank to the forearm which would be distal. However, the question was the arm is blank to the forearm. The answer is proximal being proximate not distal, distant away from the body.
