WGU Prelicensure-Cedars Sinai-Oct, 2014

Anyone out there anxiously waiting with me for news of acceptance to the October 1st cohort for Cedars Sinai? The excitement and suspense is really tough for me! My "nursing file" was complete and ready to go on February 2nd, which feels like about 25 years ago. All my eggs are in the WGU basket...I don't really have other options. I'm trying to pass the time by re-reading my anatomy and Microbiology textbooks. :wideyed: Also taking others' advice about relaxing and enjoying free time in case I do start school soon. I'd love to hear from anyone else waiting. Good luck to all who have applied!

lildiptalia, I'm sending all my positive thoughts your way for your acceptance to the OC cohort. At least we found out earlier than expected - I got the news today as well - I was accepted to the Cedars cohort. All the best to you!

Unfortunately, I did not make it to the LA cohort as well. I am on the standby list so hopefully that works out! Congratulations to you both :)

Just got my official, "provisional" acceptance email from WGU. So exciting! It hardly seems real after working so hard for two years to get to this point.

I think it's hilarious that 1/4 of our cohort is in this thread. :D lol

I haven't got a provisional acceptance email....I did get the "thanks for completing the intake assessment, get ready to throw money at us" email and if I log in to my WGU account, it now shows that I'm in the pre-licensure program (before, it was blank).

My story is a little odd, so I'll probably share it in person if anyone is interested...but, yeah. Also something I've been waiting for - for a very long time. :) I CANNOT SHUT UP ABOUT HOW THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING to my poor husband. hahahhah

Nice, you already had your intake assessment! Mine isn't until next week. It *is* interesting that three of us are here already. Hopefully we'll hear from more. I can't wait to hear your story! I know about the shutting up stuff; yesterday I couldn't stop screaming like a five-year-old.

Yeah, had it on the call I got to inform me that I was accepted into the cohort. :) Streamlined. LOL

I suppose this is the first place you wind up if you search for a combination of these terms: "WGU" "Cedars" "2014" "cohort"

So, we shouldn't be TOO shocked. ;)

But, yeah, now to stop wondering if we got in and start wondering if we're going to get in to clinicals! LOL
