WGU Pre-Licensure Dallas, TX Jan. 2015 Co-Hort

Published

I couldn't find a thread on WGU for Dallas, TX Jan. 2015 Co-Hort so I wanted to start a thread about it. I would like us to come on here and update everyone on your statuses as you progress through the program. Everyone is welcome to comment and participate.

I can start out with that I have already spoken to my mentor and our first conversation was today. We introduced ourselves today, she gave me a pdf handbook of the skills we are being tested over for boot camp (a checklist of skills they are looking for), and we have scheduled a degree plan telephone conversation for the following week after the Christmas Holidays. I have already been assigned homework from her (Vision Statement & About Me Worksheet). Lol! :roflmao: Everything seems to be going in order for me, but that could be that I was one of the top people on the list for processing (according to my mentor). She seems very awesome and down to earth. I'm very excited to be working with her and to meeting all of you on Jan. 10 & 11th. Our Dallas Jan. 2015 Co-Hort has 14 students that were accepted. If you are a part of the WGU Dallas Jan. 2015 Co-Hort, please feel free to chime in at any time. I would like to know how others are doing.

Better el centro than somewhere out in the middle of nowhere, imo. Paying for all day x 2 of parking does suck, though. Cash only i wonder?

How much is parking? I haven't been down there in so long. I hope the weather cooperates as well.

I'm not sure. It's on my way to work so I'll see if I can stop by and find out tmrw.

Last time I paid for downtown parking it was $8.00 all day! Some places were $10.00 all day! I am going to take train. Downtown parking is a mess it might be better on weekends if there is not a big event going on.I do hope the weather holds off until late Sunday! See you on Saturday!

Was thinking about the train as well.

You have to leave earlier but it is within walking distance from the train and beats the hassle of parking! See you all tomorrow!
