Hey everyone,
I am looking at possible attending WGUs Prelicensing.
I have been between 2 schools but it is looking more positive with WGU than the other school. I have to retake my A&P 2 due to the Lack of quality instructors. The Professor we had was absolutely horrible and many of us in the class need to retake it due to low grades. I will have to wait til Spring and take it at a community college instead of where I took the last one. I am wondering how many other are planning to attend in 2015.
Other than that I will have all I need to Apply. I am emailing my enrollment counselor and find out the upcoming dates that are out so far in 2015.
I am gearing more towards WGU and having a group to work together and keep eachother motivated would be great. Let me know.
Thanks
Shonda
Future#nurse,
Here is a link that explains the pre- reqs required to apply for the pre-licensing program.

Hi Shonda, I too live in Southern California and have attempted to take A&P through Straighterline. Like you mentioned, while taking some of their tests I was unable to find the answers in the textbook which became very frustrating. I already have A & P and Micro from a community college with a cumulative GPA of 2.7
Since WGU's BSN program is highly competitive, I was advised to retake A&P to bring up my Science GPA which would put me in a better position. I will attempt to retake A&P as I still have my Lab kit(un-opened). If you like, maybe we can collab and do our classes together.
Hi my name is Shalonda I recently got my AA from Seminole State college in Florida. I work full time at a hospital in sanford and am looking into applying for the prelicensure program for August 2015. I have so many questions and worries about an online program. If anyone has ever completed or is in the process of completing please tell me how it is? Is it similar to going to an actual class and learning the information?

WGU will definitely be MUCH MUCH cheaper. :)
