Is it possible to do the MSN educator program in one term 6 months? In a way that's 2 quarters, so it would be 15 units per quarter. If the student is able to handle all the load, is it possible to do in terms of prerequisites of the MSN classes-- are some classes REQUIRED to be taken before taking the next class? I understand that some classes SHOULD be taken before another class, but I want to know if it's possible to take them all at once?
I've seen a few people ask how long it takes to get admitted from the start of the application, but I haven't seen any responses. I apologize if this has been answered. What is a reasonable expected turn around one could expect from application to being able to begin a program? Thank you.

It's been a bit impacted lately, so I am guessing a few months from application. The amount of time will vary, as sometimes it's necessary to wait until there's room.
And the MSN capstone doesn't take six months - the 'old' one they had a few years ago might have, but the new one is doable in a much shorter period of time depending on your topic.
No, the capstone has been changed. It's no longer an IRB-approved research project. Instead, it is now a QI project you identify from your place of employment.
Thank you. So it is possible now to craft a capstone that does not require institutional approval? Also, do you know whether the capstone course can begin immediately upon beginning the MSN now? Or are there courses or other requirements that must be met? Or perhaps it depends on the WGU person assigned to the student . . . Thanks so much. I've scoured WGU's website and haven't found questions to the nitty gritty.

I doubt the capstone can 'officially' start until you get near the end, but if you have a project in mind and are working on it, I am guessing you may be able to fit it in assuming it meets the criteria. There are still things to be done prior to turning it in, so it can't be first up.
And you do not need IRB approval, but you MAY need the approval of your workplace - that would depend on where you work and what your project is. WGU does not require it, afaik, but some institutions may want an agreement with WGU to allow you to do a project. I had to get the agreement for my MBA - it was pretty painless.

There is a quality improvement project that is done at the end of the program.
