I just submitted my application and wanted to start a thread for this year's application cycle. Through this thread we can lend each other advice, support, updates, and/or questions!
A little about me... I recently completed my undergraduate studies and realized nursing was my true passion. I went from pre-med --> pre-dental --> pre-PA and now I'm here! I'm super excited to have applied because I feel life I've finally found what I want to do with myself. I also barely found out that accelerated Master's programs in Nursing exist.
I read last year's thread and it said that people receive an email saying their "application has been forwarded to the admissions department" or something like that. Did anyone who applied already receive this email yet?
So I spoke to someone from WesternU and they told me that apparently they didn't end up sending out interview invitations for February dates on Friday. I don't know when they will but I have called the admissions people multiple times and they tell me a certain day and it doesn't happen. So I guess we just have to be patient. ?
Same here... I think that the emails may be sent out any time from the first week to the second week of February seeing as how the last interview is in late February. I also doubt they will let people know if they are invited to an interview less than a week in advance. They did say that regardless of the decision, the emails will be sent out on a certain day. But who knows, it seems they are very busy. I don't know what to expect anymore.

I'm definitely feeling the same way. Their website says that we can get notified of an interview anywhere from 1-3 weeks before the date(s). So at worst we may not even get an email until early-mid Feb. Sucks.
What other programs did you all apply to if you don't mind me asking? I also applied to UCLA's MECN program and THAT one has me even more anxious because they wont let us know until the end of Feb. Ugh...grad school.
I emailed admissions yesterday asking for any updates and they said, "Our admissions team is just waiting for the committee to send us a list of names of who they would like to invite for interviews. Once we receive the list with all the names, we will send the invitations right away.

Formal interviewers won't get notified of acceptance until March. I'm assuming bc they're waiting to see how many EAOD people accept.

@pv528 For EAOD people, you'll hear back approximately 2 weeks from your EAOD date. Could be 2.5 weeks or more like what the first round of us experienced!

Sorry, I have no idea. It’s possible they were waiting for all EAOD people to send all decisions, but I think it’s more likely that they’re just backed up. Like someone else posted, I think they just got a ton of applications. All I know is that they took about a week longer to send letters than what they had told us, so hopefully if you went to a later EAOD, yours will come by the end of next week.
