Western University MSN-E 2014

Hi Everyone!

I didn't see a thread started for this application cycle so I wanted to get one going. If there is one already started that I haven't seen feel free to redirect me. I applied for Western University's MSN-E program this fall for a start date of next fall. If anyone else is applying/has any news please share! Good luck to everyone!

For the people whose application was sent for evaluation, did your status on your application change when you logged in or did it just say "applications materials received"

@kristyyy...They told me at the beginning of October that my app was sent for review but my status still "application materials received"

From what I understand that status never changes. I think that is the one that tells them it is ready for review - all materials are in. Then they can get it in their queue for review.

RoseGold - did your status on your app change to "materials received"? Make sure they received everything.

dont rely on status changes to mean much of anything.. just look out for emails! interview emails come in around january and acceptances/wait-listing/rejections begin mid march

Hi livelaughlove07...congrats on being so close to the NCLEX! I was wondering when you started to find out about interviews for your class?

Sorry for the late response.

As someone said earlier, early acceptances are late dec/early jan. And interviews are mid jan-end of feb usually. Can always fluctuate. I interviewed feb twenty something and accepted march 13. And first letter of last name will not matter.

My status says application materials received, and I got an email saying that it's being processed from my counselor. But I haven't received any other emails yet...(i.e. sent for review)

hey guys! So my app was sent for review and...no news, as expected. I am so ready to find out whether I will be receiving an interview. I am currently studying for the HESI and honestly I am little nervous. I can't wait to start my career! I hope everyone else is surviving the waiting game lol

Hello, I am so excited to find this chat to keep in contact with everyone as we wait this through this process together. I don't know when all emails will be going out, but the early opportunity emails went today as i just received one! Hope that helps with timing to know the process has begun. Good luck everyone!!
