Western University MSN-E 2015 Applicants

Hi all,

I'm new to allnurses and haven't seen a thread on Western yet for 2015. Just wanted to start it to see who else is applying so we can all give each other moral support!

I saw that every year the application deadline is postponed? Do you think it will be happening this year as well?

Snailszy, what time did you receieve your email? I'm curious if they sent it out together at one time or if they are still sending them...

Like Justeen23 I have not heard anything. I interviewed on the first day on Thursday January 22. Keeping my fingers crossed. Best of luck to everyone still waiting.

definitely dont be shy to call and ask about your admittance status. Many of the applicants who went to EAOD heard back way before I did and it looked like there was a mix up and I actually had to call in so they could send my admittance email. doesnt hurt to call and check!

I'm going to give up my spot! I got into one of my top choice programs and was holding out for western in case it would give some sort of scholarship.

I just called and they said by the end of this week. I guess everyone will be notified by the end of this week? Although I'm not sure how they are deciding what to send out first. =/

It's so hard to be patient now! Haha I refresh me email about every five minutes! I wonder why it's taking so long this year compared to the previous years...

yeah I find that strange that they haven't just sent out all their rejection letters at once and their admittance and alternates as well. To be honest I'm hoping all the rejection emails have been sent and received and we are just waiting back to hear if we are admits or alternates. I refresh my email every chance I get and hold my break just like justeen23 mentioned. The struggle is real. Good luck everyone!!

Oh, for some reason I thought they already sent out the acceptances. That gives some hope then! I really really just want to get a good night of sleep haha

Me too! I'd like to not have a heart attack when ever I hear the sound of reieving an email :cry:
