Western University MSN-E 2015 Applicants

Hi all,

I'm new to allnurses and haven't seen a thread on Western yet for 2015. Just wanted to start it to see who else is applying so we can all give each other moral support!

I saw that every year the application deadline is postponed? Do you think it will be happening this year as well?

If I recall, Didn't you get a early acceptance opportunity day invitation @macaroni84?

I did! Why so you ask? I thought I would get in for sure, but I was crunching numbers today (in anticipation of having to choose between schools) and Western is suuuuper expensive!

I was curious, and because you were notified with the rest of the groups who were interviewed. So I assuming you opt for the interview instead of the early acceptance day. It surely is expensive, and it's good that you already have been accepted somewhere else, congrats!

You guys gave me like 12 heartattacks lol. I've been at work and checked my email just now...no rejection for me either (yet?). I think rejections may have went out today and alternate/acceptance Monday, perhaps? Sending all the luck in the world our way :) let's make it through the weekend in one piece now lol

I opted for the interview because my friend's husband had just died and I decided I couldn't take off for Pomona during the week of the EAOD. I don't regret it, except that taking off for the interview itself was really difficult, too (I live near Sacramento). I would have liked to have the option of Western and of staying in California.

thank you for being so involved and supportive in this forum! Do you know of anyone who's interviewed and heard back? I think many of us are anxiously waiting to hear back, but some people have heard some not so good news :/

I think it would depend one whose list they're ranked on. If not US NEWS it could be some other list. Bro.nurse, do you have any more info?
