Western University MSN-E 2015 Applicants

Hi all,

I'm new to allnurses and haven't seen a thread on Western yet for 2015. Just wanted to start it to see who else is applying so we can all give each other moral support!

I saw that every year the application deadline is postponed? Do you think it will be happening this year as well?

me either, I haven't gotten any notification. So we would get notify through mail, not email? i don't see why they won't let the rest know their status if all decisions were made. Why let us wait for it..

When did you hear back ? Yeah I agree ... I'm not gonna assume anything until I see for myself though because that might stress me out more .

Some people were emailed rejection notifications, why would there be some candidates who didn't hear at all? That sounds a little inconsistent. I don't need anyone paying postage to say "sorry no thanks" I would have appreciated an email when they said they would be sent out no matter how many times they've changed those dates. I'm trying to be optimistic but still!

I emailed today-while they are trying to email everyone, they sent some statuses by letter too. I received my alternate status in the post!

I will most likely be giving up my spot so that will open up room for anyone from the waitlist :)

If you already received an alternate status. Then imma take that all acceptance were all given. Bummer:(

Yes. I never received an email. Just a letter in the mail.

Received alternate letter in the mail.. They sent out alternate letters in the mail because you have to fill-out a form and return it to admissions.
